In short: use our free plugins on anything, including commercial music, on as many of your own computers as you like. What you make is yours. Please don't re-upload or sell the plugin files. Share a link to www.brumaaudio.store instead.

1. Who we are

This license is between you and Bruma Audio, a one-man studio run by Vasco Rocha (“we”). It covers the free plugins you download from our website, including Höarfrost, together with their updates and the files that come with them (the “Software”). By installing or using the Software you agree to it.

2. What you can do

We give you a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license with no time limit to install and use the Software on any number of computers that you own or control, for personal and commercial work.

3. What you make is yours

Music, sounds and any other audio you create with the Software belong to you. You can release, sell and license it however you like, with no royalties and no credit required.

4. What you can't do

You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the Software or its installers, including uploading them to other websites, file-sharing services or sample and plugin bundles. You may not modify, decompile or reverse engineer the Software, except where the law allows it regardless of this license, and you may not remove its credits or notices.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep all rights in it, including its design, artwork and name, except for the third-party parts below.

6. Third-party parts

Some parts of the Software come from other people and stay under their own licenses. Nothing in this license limits the rights those licenses give you. The Fuzz section of Höarfrost uses the NAM capture “Analogman Sun Bender MK1.5” by danielnguyen on TONE3000, licensed under CC BY 4.0. Product and company names mentioned are trademarks of their respective owners.

7. Updates

We may update the Software, or stop offering it, at any time. Versions you have already downloaded remain yours to use under this license.

8. No warranty

The Software is free and provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to make it stable, but we can't promise it will be free of bugs or work with every system and host. Please keep backups of your projects.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage or loss that comes from using or not being able to use the Software, including lost data or projects. Nothing in this license limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

10. Ending this license

If you break this license, it ends automatically and you must delete your copies of the Software. Sections 3 and 5 to 9 keep applying after that.

11. Law

This license is governed by the laws of Portugal.
